There are houses with rooftop pools but a pool as a roof might be a first. Antireality realises the design feature with their Summer House concept. The triangular home is imagined on a rocky coastline, balancing on a massive boulder. Its 914-square-foot interior is encased in floor-to-ceiling glazing to immerse the living space in views of the surrounding seaside. While it’s mostly an open concept, three timber cylinders create individual rooms to house a bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen. It’s topped by an inverted roof that acts as a basin when filled with water. Accessed by a ladder, this elevated swimming pool enjoys expansive views across the coastal landscape.
